Dini was from the local Humane Society. She endeared herself to us from the time she came home to her last breath, at home. Simply put, she was the "very best girl." She would protect our granddaughters simply by making her presence known to the other dogs (who really were no threat, but the girls were part of Dini's pack, and she knew it). She loved the game of "catch me" with other dogs and with us. She captured our hearts and now a month later, we still miss her so much. So does our other dog who only knew her for five years.
