Peeper

A donation was made in memory of Peeper by the doctors and staff at Ravenna Animal Hospital on Dec 27, 2019.

I saw her at a pet adoption event. She was a little lady Chihuahua in a cage next to 2 other Chi's. They were barking their head's off; not the little lady in the middle. She caught my eye and smiled. I took a picture and sent to my husband as we had lost a chihuahua mix a year earlier. I left without her but talked about her all evening. My husband called up the person in charge of the event to see if she was still available the next day and she was. I went to pick her up from her foster family. She was fairly friendly right away and a perfect cuddler. She had been a breeding mom in a puppy mill and was a sad girl. Never wagged her tail or played. Got her home to her brother and sisters of all sizes and varieties and she started ruling the household. Over the years she became the happiest and most friendly little dog anyone had ever met. Sat in any lap in the house - loved everyone and was very possessive about me; my constant companion. She was a good dog - never quite got the "don't pee in the house" gig but loved to ride in the car and explore outside. I miss her toothless grin (had 23 teeth extracted over the years) and how she slept with me under the covers every night. I'm just glad she is at rest and no longer suffering. See you at the Rainbow Bridge Peep!
