A donation was made in memory of Dandee by
Doctors and Staff of the Siskiyou Veterinary Hospital on
Jul 08, 2010.
I lost my precious & much beloved Dandee on April 27, 2010. She was 10 years & 8 months old. Dr. Dwight Sinner with Siskiyou Veterinary Hospital in Medford, OR was her Veterinarian. Dr. Sinner & all of his staff were there for Dandee and myself for over 3 years and what wonderful care Dandee got from them all. Their support was also invaluable to me. Dr. Sinner made a monetary donation to the Pet Memorial Program in memory of Dandee and our relationship. What a wonderful Veterinarian to have done this in honor of Dandee & myself & our special relationship.
I have been a breeder of Bullmastiffs since 1984 and she was my first "Heart" dog after all those years of owning Bullmastiffs. She was born August 27, 1999 from my last litter. I assisted with the C-section which delivered 6 healthy pups. I have also worked as a Veterinarian Technician for over 32 years & retired now. I knew from the beginning that Dandee would be mine.
We were very close right from the beginning. She was a quiet & somewhat reserved bullmastiff, yet very sensitive and loving. We developed a very special relationship, knew each other's thoughts and I was closer to her than any other dog I have had in my lifetime. She knew my every secret, had her fur covered with my tears as life went by. I always had her by my side for comfort, fun & companionship. We grew to be quite old friends together over the years.
I held her tightly on her last trip to the Vet and hugged her closely when the final injection was given. What can you say or how can you explain to anyone how you feel inside to know that you will never see your best friend again on this earth? It hurt so very deeply and still does. I know many other people have been through this same heartache and understand.
Dandee will be missed very much. There will be a big empty hole in heart. I am just glad that I got to have her in my life for those 10 years & 8 months.
