Our beloved Golden Retriever Teko provided us with our daily dose of sunshine and a happy heart. His tail was always wagging and his sweet face radiated a constant smile. And how he loved to "talk"!!

Teko loved life and loved people. When he saw people approaching him while on walks, he would crouch on the ground, waiting for them to arrive. He was sure they were approaching to play with HIM. Some filled his heart with joy as they did stop to pet or play with him; others laughed as we told them why he was waiting; others missed a golden opportunity to experience a dog's love as they passed him by.

Teko was called over The Rainbow Bridge much, much too early. In the prime of his life, he loved tracking, swimming, obedience training, Rally, his agility tunnel, running along the ocean, car rides, hanging out with 'mom' and 'dad' and -- of course!! -- retrieving his special yellow ball. He was preparing to be a fantastic therapy dog.

We miss him so very much and will always treasure the wonderful memories we have of our time together.

Forever loved by

Ned & Nancy W.

Comments: Teko was one of the first "students" that CBDTC had in our early garage groups. He was a stunning and energetic young Golden with a heart to match. When we first met, Nancy was disappointed because he was unable to do agility- but she found so many other things that they could enjoy and work together at. He was just at his prime- in obedience, rally, tracking, and therapy work. I so enjoyed watching Nancy and Teko work as a team in anything they did. Nancy's quiet confidence so effectively focused Teko's enthusiasm for everything and everybody into a sweet and beautiful companion. What a tragedy to lose him so early, but what a great blessing to have known him...

Comments: Dear Nancy and Ned, I didn't know Teko for very long but the memory of the joy he had for life and tracking with Nancy will always be with me. He was a beautiful dog, inside and out. He had a true smile that matched his Mom's and when he raised that tail to go to work he was a wonderful site to watch. I know he will always be missed and I pray you will be given peace of heart knowing you gave as much to him as he gave to you. Cathie B.
