JC came to live with us when he weighed just 6 ounces. My husband and older son, Jeff, were driving home one day when Jeff told his dad to stop the car. He noticed this little furry animal all alone on the side of the road. Jeff brought him home, and while we bottle fed him to give him a chance at life, we called neighbors and posted flyers to see if anyone recently had a litter of kittens. No one responded, so JC (Jeff’s cat) was ours to keep. We all fell in love with JC and were so happy that he joined our family. When my husband and I worked in our yard, JC came running for us. He loved the outdoors and was always glad when we were out there to play chase with him. He was very special to us, and we truly miss him after having him share our home for 16 years.
