We adored Tyler. He added such energy, humor and joy to our lives. Although he was born with health problems, he did not let them get in his way of making the most of every, single day. The grief we feel over losing him is much larger and deeper than we could have ever imagined. Tyler went everywhere with us, and we miss his presence in just about everything we do. He made us laugh and live life more heartily. He agreeably tolerated our dressing him up and photographing him for each holiday! As his health declined, we were fortunate to have the support of Dr. John Stevenson of Companion Animal Hospital in Aberdeen. Our recommendation for anyone thinking of adding a pet to his or her family is to FIRST find a wonderful veterinarian. Look and look and look until you find one who not only has excellent medical expertise but who is also a sincere, kind, caring human being. Dr. Stevenson was there for us whenever Tyler needed his care or we needed his support. We cannot imagine going through the past few months without Dr. Stevenson’s care and compassion.
