Mr. Mumbles was a stray and came to us in a sorry state. He had been attacked by a dog and had infected bites on his rump. We adopted him and got him back to health. Besides his tail broken in two places, we noticed early on that he had no meow. Somehow his larynx was damaged, which caused him recurring problems for the rest of his life. Despite his problems, Mr. Mumbles was a real character. He enjoyed his morning walkabout with his Mom. He loved to sit on the fence and survey his domain. We will miss him immensely but remember him with fondness.
