Murray

A donation was made in memory of Murray by Drs. Vollmar and Brown at North End Pet Hospital on Jun 19, 2018.

Murray was such a sweet, lovable, happy, friendly boy. He was a bait dog that we rescued from a fighting ring in California. We had a rough start teaching him how to love and be loved, but he got really good at it over the past five years with us! He LOVED his adopted fellow dobie rescue, Sunshine, and was loyal to her until her heart gave out last September. He rallied and mourned with us; becoming closer than ever. He was the best sniffer and howler we've ever seen. We loved how he would stare right in our eyes for minutes on end; relaying messages about how to enjoy life and care for his every whim. What a beautiful gait he had when we ran him; we got glowing compliments from all that met him. We miss him so much; it hurts so much. It went so fast that we couldn't love on him like we did Sunshine. He held on for 14 hours while we frantically flew home; the ER keeping him alive so that he could die in our arms. We love you Sweetheart. I wish I could look in your eyes one last time, and chastise you for shoving your big nose into everything, and knocking me over and getting in the way, and cuddling so well. I know that you are playing with Sunshine now over the Rainbow Bridge, and you have met our beloved Miles now as well. I miss you Honey Boy.
